Craft Projects

We know there are many of you out there using InstaMorph for some exciting arts & crafts projects. We always encourage our fans to send us pictures of there work so we can post them here to inspire others. Today’s post is brought to you by two artists that have done just that.

Sara, over at her blog, Cottage Capers, has posted a really nice entry about InstaMorph with some great pictures of what she has done with it. She combines InstaMorph with other colored moldable plastics to create pendants and other crafty items. For her, InstaMorph is a great base material because of its neutral color and low cost in bulk. To the left is a photo of one such pendent. Keep up the great work Sara; they look awesome!

Our other submission this week comes from Marielle K. She has been working with InstaMorph for a while now, and as you can see from the picture at right, she has gotten quite good at it. She sent the InstaMorph Team a picture of her latest creation, this dragon figurine made entirely out of InstaMorph. We were all blown away.  How cool is that?!?! It reminds me of those glass figurines made with glass rods and a torch, a technique called “lampworking“. Maybe there is a  future in lampworking InstaMorph? You probably don’t need to use a torch with InstaMorph though. Regardless, great job Marielle and thanks for sending us a picture of your work.
