Chris uses InstaMorph to make tools that are custom fit to his hands. These finger splits help him keep his fingers straight so he can type. This is just amazing and inspiring.
Another InstaMorph user, Alain made one a couple of years ago as a pinky splint by coiling a flat band of about 3/8 inch wide instead of a round string. You just have to make sure it is a spiral and does not cross over itself and that you leave some space for the knuckle. The picture of his work is below as well.
