Amy used InstaMorph and some other household materials to make a really cool sword prop.
“It’s a cosplay prop of a sword from the anime Sword Art Online. The name of this specific sword is called Lambent Light. For this project the blade is made out of an old fence post that I cut and sanded, then I used an old paintbrush handle and an empty roll of duct tape to make the hand guard and handle. Though this sword would be nothing without the InstaMorph that I molded over the handle and duct tape to give it a nice smooth shape and to hold everything together. InstaMorph was also used for the details on the sword and for the white parts on the sheath.
I really enjoyed using Instamorph on this project and I can’t wait to use it again for more cosplays in the future!”
